Introduction
Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, was an American serial killer and sex offender who committed heinous crimes between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer was known for his gruesome acts, including rape, murder, dismemberment, necrophilia, and cannibalism. His reign of terror ended with his arrest on July 22, 1991, after one of his intended victims escaped and alerted the police.Early Crimes
Dahmer committed his first murder in 1978 at the age of 18. His first victim was hitchhiker Steven Hicks, whom he lured to his home in Bath, Ohio. Dahmer bludgeoned Hicks to death, dismembered the body, and disposed of the remains. For nearly a decade, he remained inactive in terms of murder but was arrested multiple times for sexual offenses.Victims and Timeline of Murders

- November 20, 1987 – Steven Tuomi (25) - Killed at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee; body never recovered.
- January 16, 1988 – James Doxtator (14) - Murdered at Dahmer’s grandmother’s house in West Allis, Wisconsin.
- March 24, 1988 – Richard Guerrero (22) - Strangled and dismembered, remains never found.
- March 25, 1989 – Anthony Sears (24) - First victim Dahmer kept body parts from, including his skull and genitals.
- May 20, 1990 – Raymond Smith (32) - First victim in Dahmer’s new apartment, drugged, strangled, and dismembered.
- June 14, 1990 – Edward Smith (27) - Murdered and his skull was destroyed by Dahmer.
- September 2, 1990 – Ernest Miller (22) - Killed via slashed throat, Dahmer kept parts of his body.
- September 24, 1990 – David Thomas (23) - Murdered but no body parts kept.
- February 18, 1991 – Curtis Straughter (17) - Lured, strangled, and dismembered.
- April 7, 1991 – Errol Lindsey (19) - First victim of Dahmer's attempt to create a "zombie" by injecting acid into his brain.
- May 24, 1991 – Tony Hughes (31) - Deaf and mute, lured, strangled, and dismembered.
- May 27, 1991 – Konerak Sinthasomphone (14) - Managed to escape but was returned to Dahmer by police; later killed.
- June 30, 1991 – Matt Turner (20) - Murdered and dismembered.
- July 5, 1991 – Jeremiah Weinberger (23) - Kept alive for two days before being killed.
- July 12, 1991 – Oliver Lacy (23) - Strangled, dismembered, and frozen.
- July 19, 1991 – Joseph Bradehoft (25) - Last victim, killed just days before Dahmer’s arrest.
