Mary Jenkins Death in Key-largo, FL

After more than 53 years the family has finally gotten a major development in Mary and Maggie Jenkins' case. Police announced this week that DNA and genetic genealogy work identified David Allen Snyder as the suspect in the sisters' 1973 killings. Investigators said they updated a degraded male DNA profile, used genealogy to build a family tree, and then confirmed the ID after a relative’s sample was submitted for testing. Carl Jackson Missing from Fruita, Colorado

yeah. I looked into the official Colorado cold case listings and Carl Leroy Jackson is still shown as missing since September 2003 with the Fruita Police Department listed as the investigating agency (case 03FL1434), so the case appears to remain open. Lashaunda Spurlock Missing from Society Hill, South Carolina

Missing: 2024-04-29

LaShaunda Spurlock, who went missing April 29, 2024, has been confirmed as the remains found in Bennettsville earlier this year. The Marlboro County coroner and Chesterfield County investigators announced the ID in mid-August 2026, and Bennettsville police previously arrested Luke Douglas Jr. in April on charges related to desecration/removal of human remains after they say he admitted to hiding and later disposing of the body. This finally gives the family an answer after being left searchin' and waitin' for over two years, tho it’s awful news. Kimberley Gsell Missing from Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Kimberley Faye Gsell, last seen Sept. 28-29, 2019 in Carlisle, PA, has been located and this case has a major update. Investigators recovered her remains on Sept. 25, 2026 and David Allen Snyder (39) of Hanover was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and strangulation after detectives say he admitted to strangling her and led them to where she was buried, arraigned on Sept. 26 and denied bail.
