Danny Brown was shot and murdered by his daughters baby daddy , she set her dad up to be killed so she could have control of his possession she couldn't wait till he died naturally, her baby daddy tried to kill Danny a few years prior to his death when Danny was at brookside bark, her baby daddy followed Danny and shot at him in the park but Danny got away. I wish the cops would look into this case more because if they did they would notice things don't add up and I can't say anything because the police would just think I'm an angry relative which isn't true I just want justice and I will go to my grave knowing Danny Brown's daughter and her baby daddy got away with murder. After Danny was shot and murdered his daughter and her baby daddy moved in with each other, ( I sure as hell would not live with someone who killed my dad I don't care who it is) A few months later the baby daddy tried to kill Danny's daughter and the baby daddy was heard to say he tried to kill her because he didn't get his share of the money that the daughter promised to give for killing her dad and the person who heard and saw this exchange is someone very close to both the daughter and the baby daddy ... ...View Post & Comment

Unfortunately Inglewood police department keeps very quiet about cases like this or anything “crazy” that happens in Inglewood. They just closed the case , kept it quiet and moved on. Especially finding out what happened to Lucia’s son only several years later, which I’m sure has to do with the trauma of loosing his mother and father in such horrible circumstances. It saddens that this case wasn’t broadcasted more widely. All there is , is 1 or 2 articles with very simple information and that’s it smh IPD needs to do better !! Lucia and her family deserved more that just a simple online news article. I agree with you this could’ve been a perfect time for Inglewood to discuss these matters and provide more recourses to anyone who is a victim of domestic abuse .... ...View Post & Comment

Let me start off saying that I had no idea that this site existed. I was looking something up about my brother Justin Kirby, and came across this and I’m happy to give an update on this case which still 10 years plus later, continues to be a nightmare in our lives. My family has flourished, and we have coped well, but the thing that has really opened our eyes is the justice system and how it fails so many victim families we were never given a choice on if we agreed or we did not agree with my brothers murderers sentence. I refuse to address her as anything other than his murderer. My brother did have eye issues and at times it was very difficult for him to even see a TV unless he was inches from it whether that contributed to his death or not I don’t know.I will always stand 10 toes down and say that you cannot tell me that going to a bedroom loading a gun and putting it into your pants is not a form of pre-meditation. What has disgusted our family over the years since this has happened is the amount of days that she continues to get reduced off of her sentence for taking classes, good behavior and it’s just a smack in the face to us when we get those DOC emails or letters every month. In my family‘s opinion, if you have committed a heinous crime such as murder, rape, any kind of violence against a child there should never be an option for you to already get time off of reduced sentence, which is something that our family is pursuing with legislation.I feel bad for anybody who ever has to be in this situation because our family never thought we would be faced with this reality. We continue to honor my brother‘s memory daily as for his children I will not go into detail because they are under age, but I will say that they do live with a family member, and they stayed together. I think unfortunately the county that we lived in this is how they conduct business if it had been in numerous other counties within Indiana I do not feel that the same sentence would have been applied. I am really glad he finally, after all the denials, the escapes, the clown show in court he sat down with an interviewer and admitted he killed these women and girls. At least he went to his death with the truth. How much truth is questionable. He tried to blame hard core porn. I don't think that creates a monster. ... ...View Post & Comment

They may have found her remains but what happened to her? Was it an accident? Was it a murder? I am glad she was found and that brings some measure of closure but not knowing what caused her early death is frustrating.... ...View Post & Comment
