In the winter of 2024, the life of 46-year-old Alton Fontay Jones was tragically cut short in Hinesville, Georgia. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Jones was known to his loved ones as a 'gentle giant,' a loving son, a protective brother, and a dedicated father to his son and daughter. His friendly, outgoing nature, optimism, and beautiful smile were remembered by those who knew him. On January 16, 2024, he passed away in Liberty County.
