• So his white supremacy ideology was secondary according to FBI profilers. FBI concluded the shooting was an act of suicidal murder intended to demonstrate his masculinity and capacity for killing, rather than motivated by ideology or bias. So clearly there were layers. This is why there needs to be study done on these people that do this. If you can figure out how you make a monster you can learn to unmake or stop them before they cross the line. There just isn't enough research done about this. Sure, there is some. Nature vs Nurture etc. etc. But this is an epidemic that needs to be studied and stopped.

I don't think it was either of the suspects they had in mind. I think it was someone else and I also think he had more than the 3 victims. There was a short stretch between Wanda and Michelle. Makes me wonder if there is at least 1 more victim between Carla and Wanda. Then the murders stopped. Usually that means incarceration or incapacitation of some kind. This is why gun violence is a persistent issue, because we just give up . Also, they're not addicts, they're people. I think what happened to him is evil and heartbreaking, but you can't just give up on the youth, P. I think prevention is the best cure. Hypothetically, the Darius Law will prevent these type of murders and enact harsher penalties on shooters. You can't just let his life go to waste. I'm not being rude either, but gun violence is not going to end until society has had enough, and clearly not yet. Have you seen the gun memorial website? The list of victims grow daily. You said reach out to the youth, but what will that do ? What's the point of starting up programs, just for some of the youth to go home and be indoctrinated into gun violence by a parent, or an uncle? Have you taken the music into account? There's violent music telling the kids to shoot each other , and the targeted youth demographic keeps falling for it. Do not expend resources trying to prevent. I agree. That's how California is handling its widespread drug problem. After realizing that addicts were going to keep using drugs anyway, nonprofits began to focus more on giving out narcan and clean needles. Some say this approach only further enables addicts. On the inside, I agree, but I also know that it's unrealistic to expect south carolina to pass a law for him. I think we should just offer grief support, counseling, etc after each kill. People have free will, so we cannot remove anyone's desire to kill, but we can provide grieving individuals with support and resources. ... ...View Post & Comment

Ok, we can combine everything. It makes sense to compile all of it and then turn it in, that's absolutely fine with me. Now you see that's why we have to reach out to the youth early on . We need to start implementing programs ASAP into at risk areas. Even if they continue with these bizarre murders, at least provide them with grief support each time it happens.
