Janarick Maleek Reed, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 25, 2021, in Hinesville, Georgia. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store located at the intersection of E.G. Miles Parkway and Palm Drive. According to reports, Reed was shot while driving through the parking lot shortly after 2 p.m. He was immediately transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
