A golf pro goes missing; her body is found 2 mos later
On September 19, 1986, Sarah Hunter, a 32-year-old golf pro at the Manchester Country Club in Vermont, disappeared after leaving her boyfriend's house. Her car was later found abandoned behind a car wash in Manchester, raising immediate concerns. Two months after her disappearance, on November 20, a hunter discovered her body in a wooded area near a cornfield in Pawlet, Vermont. An autopsy revealed she had been sexually assaulted and strangled.
