Michael Anthony Brooks, a 54-year-old resident of Apple Valley, California, was found dead in his home on August 10, 2016. The discovery was made by a friend who found Brooks lying on the couch in his residence on Apple Valley Road. Upon arrival, authorities determined that Brooks had suffered from apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
