Curtis Smith, a 22-year-old resident of Apple Valley, California, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2018, during a robbery that took place on Thunderbird Road. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when Smith was fatally shot. Emergency responders, including deputies and medical personnel, arrived at the scene following a 911 call reporting the disturbance. Despite life-saving efforts, Smith was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to St. Mary Medical Center.
