On September 2, 2024, at approximately 3:15 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Klickitat Avenue and Quinnault Road in Apple Valley, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Jonathan Cuevas, a resident of Oro Grande, inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Cuevas was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
