In the winter of 2025, a sense of concern grew for 28-year-old Kaitlyn Roberta Kaganak, a Female from Anchorage, Alaska. The exact date of her disappearance is not precisely known, though she was last seen leaving her home in the area of Bragaw Street. She was reported missing to the Anchorage Police Department on December 9, 2025. Following the report, authorities began their efforts to find her, and on December 11, a public notice was issued seeking assistance in locating the missing woman. As days turned into a week and then some, the search for Kaitlyn continued. Detectives with the Anchorage Police Department worked the case diligently, conducting multiple searches. After her next-of-kin were notified, the public missing person alert was updated and subsequently canceled on December 21, 2025. The case then transitioned into a death investigation, with authorities believing there may be individuals with information regarding her disappearance and death who have not yet come forward.
