On a Sunday night in September 2016, the quiet of a trailer park in the Browns Mills section of Pemberton Township was shattered by violence. Norman Mosley, a 37-year-old man, was inside his residence on Alfred Drive when two masked individuals forced their way in around 9:50 p.m. in what authorities described as a home invasion. The intruders shot Mosley during the encounter.
After the shooting, an individual who was with Mosley in the trailer at the time drove him to Deborah Heart and Lung Center. Despite the swift transport to the hospital, his injuries proved fatal. Norman Mosley was pronounced dead at 11:06 p.m. that same evening.
No one else present in the home was physically harmed during the incident.
