On November 8, 2024, 30-year-old Hannah Kobayashi from Maui, Hawaii, arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) during a layover en route to New York City. For reasons that remain unclear, she missed her connecting flight and left the airport. In the days that followed, Hannah was seen at various locations in Los Angeles, including The Grove shopping center, where she attended a Nike event on November 10.
