In the summer of 2019, the Wichita, Kansas community was shaken by the violent death of a well-regarded local business owner. Charles "Chuck" Giles, a 55-year-old Caucasian male, was a familiar and friendly face to many as the proprietor of Neighbor's Bar and Grill, a place often likened to a local "Cheers" where everyone knew each other. His life was brought to an abrupt and tragic end on the night of Friday, July 19, 2019, in what police believe was a targeted attack.
