On October 8, 1986, Boontem Anderson, a 34-year-old Asian female originally from Khon Kaen, Thailand, was found murdered in her home in Gambrills, Maryland. She was a mother of two and had been on sick leave from her job at Fort Meade on the day of her death. Her nude body was discovered in the bathtub by her fiancé’s 11-year-old son.
