The 1977 Carol City Murders
On July 27, 1977, Ferguson, along with two accomplices, carried out a mass murder during a home invasion in Carol City, Florida. Posing as a power company worker, Ferguson entered the home of six individuals, bound them, and executed them at point-blank range. This massacre is considered one of the most heinous crimes in Florida's history.
