Arrest and Conviction

Lawrence Dalton was arrested on April 23, 1979, in Cleveland. He was formally charged with the murder of Blanchie Penna on the day of his arrest. Dalton waived extradition to Waukegan, where authorities placed the number of his homicides at four and counting. He was sentenced to life in prison in Wisconsin on October 31, 1979.
