• Jayme Denise Hurley: Disappeared from Asheville, North Carolina, on May 25, 1990. Her body was later discovered in a shallow grave near Asheville.
• Katherine Johnson: A college student who went missing in July 1990 after attending a party in High Point, North Carolina. Her body was found in the trunk of her car in a parking garage.

Capture and Conviction
