Serial Killer Dewayne Lee Harris

Introduction

Dewayne Lee Harris, also known as "The Seattle Jungle Killer" or "Chilly Willy," is an American serial killer who terrorized Seattle between 1997 and 1998. He was convicted of murdering three women and is currently serving a 94-year prison sentence.

Crimes

Harris's crimes were brutal and methodical. He targeted vulnerable women, often those living a "street lifestyle" and struggling with drug addiction. His modus operandi involved strangulation and binding his victims with shoelaces.

Victims

  • Denise Marie Harris: 42 years old, found on September 12, 1997. Strangled with a belt, bound with shoelaces, and left in "The Jungle" under the I-5 and I-90 freeways.
  • Antoinette Jones: 33 years old, skeletal remains found on February 1, 1998. Strangled with a leather belt, bound with shoelaces, and left in "The Jungle."
  • Olivia Smith: 25 years old, found on January 10, 1998. Stabbed multiple times and left on the stairwell of an apartment building near Airport Way South.
