Ivan Jerome Hill: The 60 Freeway Killer

Overview

Ivan Jerome Hill, also known as "The 60 Freeway Killer," is an American serial killer responsible for the murders of at least nine women between 1986 and 1994. Hill earned his nickname due to his pattern of leaving victims' bodies along California State Route 60. He was apprehended in 2003 after DNA evidence linked him to the crimes and was sentenced to death in 2007.

Hill's crimes were characterized by the brutal strangulation of his victims, many of whom were women involved in prostitution. His actions terrorized communities in the Los Angeles area, particularly in cities along the 60 Freeway, such as Pomona, Ontario, and Diamond Bar.
