Early Life

Colvin grew up on a farm in Ohio and, by his own admission, had a normal childhood. He participated in activities like wrestling and football during his high school years. Despite this seemingly typical upbringing, Colvin harbored violent tendencies from a young age, admitting that the first person he wanted to kill was his stepmother, who was reportedly afraid of him. He claimed to have started killing at the age of 24, estimating that he killed around 50 women while working as a truck driver.

Confirmed Victims

• Donna Lee White: 27 years old. Disappeared on September 15, 1987. Colvin later confessed to suffocating her with a bag. Her body was found in Ohio.
• Valerie Jones: 38 years old. Disappeared in January 2000. Colvin admitted to luring her into his truck, strangling her, and dumping her body in Lake Erie, Ottawa County, Ohio.
• Dorothea Wetzel: 40 years old. Her body was found on August 5, 2000, on the banks of the Maumee River in southern Toledo, Ohio. Colvin confessed to her murder in October 2006.
• Jacquelynn Thomas: 42 years old. Disappeared on September 1, 2000. Her body was discovered on September 2, 2000, in Monroe County, Michigan. Colvin admitted to killing her after luring her into his truck.
• Jackie Simpson: 33 years old. Murdered on April 16, 2003, in Toledo, Ohio. Colvin was charged with her murder in November 2005 after DNA evidence linked him to the crime.
• Melissa Weber: 37 years old. Murdered on May 9, 2003, in Toledo, Ohio. Colvin was charged with her murder alongside that of Jackie Simpson.
• Lily Summers: 45 years old. Approximately killed in April 2005. Colvin confessed to her murder, stating he had offered her money in exchange for sex before killing her.
