Valerie Jones, a 38-year-old African American woman from Toledo, Ohio, was tragically murdered in January 2000 by serial killer Dellmus Charles Colvin. Colvin, a long-haul truck driver, had a history of targeting vulnerable women, particularly those involved in prostitution. He would lure them into his truck, commit the murder, and then dispose of their bodies in secluded areas.
