Satha Maxwell, a 21-year-old Caucasian female, tragically lost her life on June 30, 2015, in a quiet, rural area near Chaseley, North Dakota. The evening took a grim turn on a county-township road when she was shot and killed. The incident unfolded around 7 p.m. as she was in the process of picking up the young daughter she shared with her ex-boyfriend.
Authorities from the Wells County Sheriff's Department quickly identified the suspect as 34-year-old Bradey Wolff, Satha's former
boyfriend. The investigation revealed a heartbreaking scenario: it is believed that Wolff fatally shot Maxwell before turning the gun on himself in a murder-suicide. At the time of the incident, both Maxwell and Wolff were residents of Fessenden, North Dakota.
In the midst of this tragedy, there was a small measure of relief as the couple's daughter, who was present during the horrific event, was found to be physically unharmed.
