On June 30, 2015, 21-year-old Samantha Jo Maxwell was tragically killed near Chaseley, North Dakota. Samantha, a resident of Fessenden, was meeting her ex-boyfriend, 34-year-old Brady Wolff, to pick up their three-year-old daughter, Grace. Earlier that day, Samantha had filed a restraining order against Brady due to a prior incident between them.
