In the autumn of 1987, the life of 27-year-old Donna Lee White of Somers Point, New Jersey, came to a tragic and untimely end. On September 15, her body was discovered in a vacant lot in Atlantic City. Initially, the cause of her death was attributed to a drug overdose, specifically cocaine toxicity, and the case was closed.
