On August 1, 2024, at approximately 4:41 a.m., Atlantic City police responded to reports of two severely injured women near the jetty behind the Flagship Resort on North Main Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Carley Elbert from Sewell, New Jersey, unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, 29-year-old Kamille Stewart from Pleasantville, New Jersey, was found conscious with multiple wounds and was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center for treatment. Pr ...Read More
