Glen Edward Rogers: The Cross Country Killer

Introduction

Glen Edward Rogers, also known as "The Cross Country Killer" or "The Casanova Killer," is an American serial killer convicted of multiple murders across the United States. Active primarily during the 1990s, he was linked to the deaths of several women and was suspected of even more. Rogers gained infamy for his ability to charm his victims before brutally murdering them. He was arrested in November 1995 after a nationwide manhunt.

Confirmed Murders

Rogers was convicted of the murders of at least two women but is suspected in many more. His known victims include:
  • Sandra Gallagher - September 28, 1995 (Los Angeles, California) Rogers met Sandra Gallagher, a 33-year-old mother, at a bar in Van Nuys, California. After drinking together, Rogers was seen leaving with her. The next day, her burned-out car was found with her charred body inside. Investigators determined she had been strangled before the vehicle was set on fire.
  • Linda Price - July 1995 (Jackson, Mississippi) Rogers was romantically involved with 34-year-old Linda Price before brutally stabbing her to death in her home. Her body was found with multiple stab wounds, and Rogers quickly fled the state.
  • Tina Marie Cribbs - November 5, 1995 (Tampa, Florida) Rogers met 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs at a bar, and she was last seen leaving with him. Two days later, she was found dead in a motel bathtub with multiple stab wounds. Witnesses identified Rogers as the last person seen with her, and he used her car to flee the scene.
  • Andy Jiles Sutton - November 9, 1995 (Bossier City, Louisiana) Rogers was connected to the murder of 37-year-old Andy Jiles Sutton, a woman he had dated. Her body was discovered in her home, stabbed multiple times.

Arrest and Conviction
