- Roger Brumback - Age 65, murdered on May 12, 2013, in Omaha, Nebraska. Roger was a former colleague of Garcia at Creighton University.
- Mary Brumback - Age 65, murdered on May 12, 2013, in Omaha, Nebraska. Mary was the wife of Roger Brumback.
