Winifred Corrine Long, aged 30, was last seen on June 10, 1962, in Marysville, California. At the time of her disappearance, she was living in Mill Valley, working as a clerk/typist. Winifred had two young sons with her estranged husband, whom she had separated from two months prior. On the day she vanished, she left home with her one-year-old son, intending to pick up her three-year-old from her husband's ranch near Beale Air Force Base.
