Victims

• Irene Barron: Jack's wife, found dead in bed on June 8, 1992, in their home southeast of Sacramento, California. Jack claimed she had a genetic disorder, but suspicions arose due to his violent outbursts and obsessive behaviors.
• Jeremy Barron: Jack's 4-year-old son, died in bed eight months after Irene's death. The cause of death remained undetermined, but suspicions of foul play grew.
• Ashley Barron: Jack's daughter, also died in bed at the age of 4, in the summer of 1994. Her death further fueled suspicions of Jack's involvement.
• Roberta Butler: Jack's mother, found dead in bed on February 27, 1995. Unlike the previous deaths, her death was quickly determined to be a homicide.
