On August 7, 1994, four-year-old Ashley Ann Barron was found deceased in her bed in Sacramento, California. Her father, Jack Barron, had left for work earlier that evening, leaving a babysitter in charge. The babysitter reported checking on Ashley around midnight and noted she appeared to be sleeping peacefully.
