Jennifer Ann Hall: The Respiratory Therapist Killer
Background
Jennifer Ann Hall, born in the early 1980s, had a troubled past that included setting fire to her school in eighth grade. Despite her criminal history, she managed to secure a job as a respiratory therapist at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri, in December 2001.
Crimes
During her brief tenure at Hedrick Medical Center, the hospital experienced an alarming increase in sudden cardiac arrest events, known as "Code Blue" incidents. Historically, the hospital averaged one Code Blue event per year, but during Hall's time, there were 18 such incidents. Nine of these patients died, and nine recovered.
