Asia Taqara Grice, a 25-year-old from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was tragically lost to gun violence on May 1, 2020. She was described as a free spirit, lively, stubborn, loved, and strong-willed, known for going her own way.

Asia's death was the result of a fatal shooting perpetrated by her boyfriend, Johnnie Osborne IV. Osborne, 28, of Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with her death. He was subsequently sentenced to 50 years in prison for the crime.
