In the winter of 2010, the life of Tawny Jo "Bones" Tomberlin, a 43-year-old Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in her Cedar Rapids, Iowa, home. On the evening of Friday, January 22nd, she was fatally wounded by gunshots. Her brother, Duane "Dewey" Tomberlin, was also shot during the incident but his injuries were not life-threatening. A second man at the residence also sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
