On a chaotic night in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the vibrant atmosphere of the Taboo Nightclub was shattered by a burst of gunfire, leaving two people dead and a community in mourning. Among the victims was Nicole Owens, a 35-year-old female, whose life was tragically cut short on April 10, 2022. The incident, which also claimed the life of 25-year-old Michael Valentine, unfolded in a terrifying scene of panic as a dozen to two dozen shots rang out within the crowded establishment.
