Serial Killer Ronald Joseph Dominique
Introduction
Ronald Joseph Dominique is an American serial killer who terrorized Louisiana between 1997 and 2006. He was convicted of raping and murdering at least 23 men, making him one of the most prolific serial killers in the state’s history. Dominique targeted young men, often homeless or from marginalized communities, luring them under the pretense of offering shelter or money before assaulting and killing them.
Modus Operandi
Dominique preyed on men, typically aged 16 to 46, by offering them food, transportation, or a place to stay. Many of his victims were found in rural locations, ditches, or remote cane fields, having been bound, raped, and strangled. Dominique later admitted that he murdered his victims to prevent them from reporting the assaults.
