In her last communication, she told her father she was planning to return home, but she never did, and her family has not been able to contact her since. Her father reported her missing on October 25, 2019, after months of failed attempts to locate her.
Law enforcement has tried to locate and interview Hayley's boyfriend but has been unsuccessful. It is unclear whether she remains with him, and her case has been classified as an endangered runaway.
