James Edward Pough was an American spree killer responsible for a deadly rampage that took place in Jacksonville, Florida, on June 18, 1990. Pough's actions left multiple people dead and many others injured before he ultimately took his own life. His crimes were motivated by personal grievances and financial troubles.The GMAC Massacre
On the morning of June 18, 1990, Pough entered a General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) loan office in Jacksonville, Florida. Armed with a .38 caliber revolver and a semi-automatic rifle, he began shooting indiscriminately at employees and customers.
