Edwin Bernard Kaprat III, also known as "The Granny Killer," was an American serial killer, rapist, and arsonist. Born on September 21, 1964, in New York City, Kaprat committed a series of heinous crimes in Florida from 1991 to 1993. He was convicted of two murders and sentenced to death. Kaprat was killed in prison on April 19, 1995.
