On the night of August 15, 1987, Bankston struck again, this time targeting the Nathanson family. Ann Morris, 63, her sister Sally Nicholson, 59, and Sally's daughter Helen Nicholson, 22, were savagely hacked to death with a hatchet in their home on Carr's Hill.
