Overview

Richard James Beasley, infamously known as the Craigslist Killer, was convicted of a series of heinous crimes that took place in 2011. Beasley, along with his teenage accomplice Brogan Rafferty, used Craigslist to lure unsuspecting victims with fake job offers, ultimately leading to their deaths.

Crimes

Beasley's criminal activities involved posting bogus job offers on Craigslist to attract men who were down on their luck. He would then rob and murder them. His crimes were methodical and premeditated, targeting individuals who were less likely to be missed or fight back.

• Ralph Geiger: Killed in August 2011. Beasley stole his identity.
• David Pauley: Killed in November 2011. Lured with a job offer.
• Timothy Kern: Killed in November 2011. Lured with a job offer.
• Scott Davis: Shot in November 2011 but managed to escape and survive.
