John Frederick Carrington: A Detailed Account of His Crimes

Introduction

John Frederick Carrington, a 53-year-old man from Clinton, Maryland, was charged with the murder of his 71-year-old mother, Johnetta Wormley, in Camp Springs. During the investigation, Carrington confessed to being involved in at least three other unsolved murders in Washington, D.C., dating back to 1992.

Crimes and Victims

• Charles Boulware: Stabbed to death in August 1992 in Northwest, D.C. Boulware was 29 years old at the time of his murder.
• Reginald Gaither: Shot to death in a car in March 2008 at North Capitol and Evarts in Northeast, D.C. Gaither was 42 years old and lived in Alexandria, Virginia.
• James Vincent Campbell: Shot to death in December 2010 in Southeast, D.C. Campbell was 25 years old and lived in Bladensburg, Maryland.
