Between 1972 and 1976, Carr embarked on a series of heinous crimes across multiple states, targeting young individuals whom he kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered.

  • Location: Miami, Florida
  • Details: Tammy was abducted while waiting for her mother to pick her up. Carr held her captive for ten days, during which he repeatedly raped her. He then strangled her and buried her body in a shallow grave in Mississippi.
• Todd Payton and Mark Wilson
  • Age: Both 11
  • Date of Abduction: November 13, 1972
  • Location: North Miami Beach, Florida
  • Details: The two friends were hitchhiking when Carr picked them up. He disabled the car's interior door handles to prevent their escape. Carr raped both boys, subsequently strangling Todd and, four days later, Mark. He buried their bodies in separate locations: Todd in Mississippi and Mark in Louisiana.

  • Age: 21
  • Date of Murder: 1976
  • Location: Connecticut
  • Details: Shortly after his release from prison in 1976, Carr murdered Rhonda and buried her body in a rural area of Connecticut.
