Initially hired as a typesetter, Waters quickly ascended to the position of office manager. However, in 1994, he was convicted of embezzling over $50,000 from the organization, leading to his dismissal and further straining his relationship with the O'Hair family.
Kidnapping and Murder of the O'Hair Family
In August 1995, Madalyn Murray O'Hair, her son Jon Garth Murray, and her granddaughter Robin Murray O'Hair mysteriously disappeared from San Antonio, Texas, along with approximately $500,000 in gold coins. Initial speculations suggested they had fled due to financial irregularities, but investigations later revealed a more sinister plot orchestrated by Waters.
