Danny Raymond Fry, a 42-year-old white male from Florida, was found dead on October 2, 1995, near Seagoville, Texas. His mutilated body—headless and handless—was discovered along the East Fork of the Trinity River in Dallas County. The corpse had been dumped in plain view, not far from a roadway, and was missing all clothing and personal effects.
