Malcolm Joseph Robbins: A Detailed Account of His Crimes

Early Life and Background

Malcolm Joseph Robbins Jr. was born on July 7, 1960, in Rockland, Maine. He grew up in a large family under challenging circumstances, with allegations that his mother had conceived him through an incestuous relationship with her imprisoned brother. The family lived in poverty, and Robbins' mother worked as a waitress and occasionally resorted to prostitution, relying heavily on welfare benefits. From an early age, Robbins exhibited signs of mental impairment, including delayed motor skills and behavioral issues that led to his expulsion from kindergarten. Reports suggest he was sexually abused by his mother's housemates during this period, contributing to his troubled mental state. His school years were marked by bullying, social isolation, and poor academic performance, leading to his placement in institutions for delinquent youths and psychiatric observation.

Escalation to Violence

Robbins' criminal behavior escalated from sexual abuse of minors to murder between 1979 and 1980. His transient lifestyle took him across various states, where he committed heinous crimes against young boys and a teenager. His actions during this period established him as a serial killer and sex offender, leaving a trail of victims across the United States.
