Wade Michael Page and the 2012 Oak Creek Sikh Temple Massacre
Overview
On August 5, 2012, Wade Michael Page, a 40-year-old white supremacist and former U.S. Army servicemember, carried out a mass shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin (Gurdwara) in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. He murdered six worshippers and wounded several others before dying of a self-inflicted gunshot after being engaged by police. A seventh victim, gravely injured that day, died in 2020 from his wounds.

Victims
The following people were killed on August 5, 2012:
- Paramjit Kaur, 41 — the only woman killed; devoted community member, mother.
- Satwant Singh Kaleka, 65 — temple founder and president; confronted the shooter while protecting congregants.
- Prakash Singh, 39 — a granthi (scripture reader and caretaker of the Guru Granth Sahib) at the temple.
- Sita Singh, 41 — worshipper and community volunteer.
- Ranjit Singh, 49 — worshipper and community volunteer.
- Suveg Singh, 84 — elder worshipper, respected within the congregation.
Died of injuries in 2020:
- Baba Punjab Singh, 72 — a granthi who was shot in the head and left paralyzed; he died on March 2, 2020, and his death was ruled a homicide stemming from the 2012 attack.
