• Rebecca "Becky" Savarese: Attempted abduction in 1994. Becky was a 12-year-old girl from Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Lent tried to force her into his truck at gunpoint, but she managed to escape by faking an asthma attack.

Crimes and Arrest

Lewis Lent's criminal activities came to light after his failed attempt to abduct Rebecca Savarese on January 7, 1994. Becky, who was walking to school, encountered Lent at a busy intersection. He pointed a gun at her and ordered her to get into his truck. Becky cleverly faked an asthma attack and fled, providing the police with crucial information that led to Lent's arrest.
