George Blatti, a former doctor in New York State, was charged with second-degree murder for prescribing tens of thousands of pills to five victims who later died. Blatti's crimes took place between 2016 and 2018. He met patients in his office at a former Radio Shack, and later began handing out prescriptions from the parking lot of the hotel where he lived and from a Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop.

• Robert Mielinis, 55, was prescribed 10,620 pills in two and a half years.
• Sean Quigley, 31, received 10,620 pills in just over three years and four months.
• Geraldine Sabatasso, 50, received 4,230 pills in six and a half months.
• Diane Woodring, 53, received 18,060 pills in four years.
