- Margaret Barbera: Murdered on April 12, 1982, in a rooftop parking garage in Midtown Manhattan. She was a key witness in the fraud case against Margolies.
- Leo Kuranuki: A CBS technician who was killed on April 12, 1982, while trying to intervene in the abduction of Margaret Barbera.
- Robert Schulze: Another CBS technician who was killed alongside Leo Kuranuki on April 12, 1982.
- Edward Benford: The third CBS technician killed on April 12, 1982, in the same incident.
