Sean Quigley, a 31-year-old male, died on December 2, 2017, from acute intoxication of oxycodone and oxymorphone. His death was a result of overprescription of opioids by Dr. George Blatti, a general practitioner who lacked specialized training in pain management. Blatti prescribed massive quantities of opioids to Quigley and other patients without proper medical examinations or history checks.
