Below is a detailed list of Paul Dennis Reid’s victims, with dates, locations, and circumstances of each murder:- February 16, 1997 – Captain D's Restaurant, Nashville, TN - Victims: Sarah Jackson (16) and Steve Hampton (25) - Details: Reid entered the restaurant early in the morning before opening hours. He forced the employees into the walk-in refrigerator where he shot both execution-style. Around $7,000 was stolen.
- March 23, 1997 – McDonald's, Hermitage, TN - Victims: Andrea Brown (17), Ronald Santiago (27), and Robert A. Sewell (23) - Details: Reid convinced four employees to let him in by posing as a job applicant. He bound the workers with duct tape, then stabbed and slit the throats of three of them in the storeroom. A fourth employee, José Antonio Ramirez González, was critically injured but survived by playing dead.
- April 23, 1997 – Baskin-Robbins, Clarksville, TN - Victims: Angela Holmes (21) and Michelle Mace (16) - Details: Reid kidnapped the two young women from the ice cream shop, drove them to Dunbar Cave State Park, and slit their throats before dumping their bodies in a lake. They were discovered the following day.
Arrest and Conviction
Paul Dennis Reid was arrested on June 25, 1997, after attempting to kidnap a fast-food restaurant employee. Evidence linking him to the earlier murders included fingerprint matches and shoe prints at the crime scenes. His trial revealed a consistent pattern of premeditation, brutality, and a clear disregard for human life.
